Sharing is caring, everybody knows that. That's why we've been working on some great updates to the Share feature on Podbean which we're pleased to announce are now live:

You can now choose to share your whole podcast page, or a single podcast across many social networks including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Tumblr.

When sharing to Facebook you can manage the image, text and position of your share. We're also super excited to announce that you can now stream your media directly on to your Facebook page!

We are glad to announce that the Podbean iPhone Web App is now available for all Podbean accounts.  Users now can visit your podcast at http://yourusername.podbean.com/mobile/, then click the "Home screen" button in Safari to add your Podcast to their iPhone desktop as an App.  You can customize the title and icon of the app in your Podbean account’s "MobileApp" page.

Your podcast fans can now check any of your new episodes in one click via the Web App.  Enjoy!

You also get to choose exactly where in the ads you would like to insert the ads, so you can work them seamlessly into your podcasts, or just put them at pre-roll and post-roll, it's totally up to you!

Great news for all of our Podbean members who want to listen to or watch their podcasts directly from Podbean on a browser that doesn't support Flash, including the iPhone or iPad! We have just added an HTML5 web player to Podbean, so you can now take your podcasts on the go! HTML5 allows multiple formats to be used for a video, so your browser can just pick the one that works and play your media with no third party add-ins, like Adobe Flash. For those of you who are less into the technical side, basically what this means is that when you try to play media from the main Podbean site on your iPhone and iPad, it will actually work instead of showing you the little puzzle piece. Forget to download the most recent episode of your favorite podcast? No problem, now you can access it directly from Podbean's mobile site! This update applies to all of Podbean, so your individual pages will also have HTML5 players! This means you can listen to a podcast from the main Podbean site, or a user's individual site, without any extra browser plug-ins! You asked and we're giving it to you! There has been a high demand for some new themes, so we've been hard at work creating two new ones!

One is called i3Theme and is an eye-catching but pleasant, blue Mac OSX inspired theme with three columns. Our other addition, zBench, combines simplicity and style in one clean, modern theme wtih two columns.
