Podbean.com is glad to announce a new exciting feature – embedded MP3 Flash players for your own web sites, myspace, blogger etc. This feature is in direct response to your feedback, so please keep them coming. There are two single-track players and two multi-track players for you to choose.
A unique “Embed Once Use Forever” feature is provided in Podbean multi-track players. Yes, that’s right. You, your friends or your audiences can simply embed the player once, Podbean.com will automatically update the play list whenever you create, modify or delete an audio post. The embedded players will start to show the latest audio tracks in about 24 hours.

Cutomizable Blog Header Image.
Now you can customize your podcast blog header image with your own photo in most of our Themes.
How to customize Podcast Blog header image?
After you log into your podbean Dashboard. Click “Layout” Tab, select a theme which is marked with “header image customizable”. A “header image” sub-tab will appear in “Layout”. Click “header image” tab, you will get instructions on what size of the image should be and you can upload your own image. The header image will be changed to the new uploaded one. Due to Cache effect, sometimes, you need to “refresh” to see the new image appear in your “header image” manage page, however, new header image will be shown right away in your podcast blog site. Podbean.com now provides advanced blog podcast statistics in Flash graph. Easy to monitor your blog podcast growth trend, view each episode visit statistics, observe stats in different time periods, Unique IP stats, stats by areas.
Advanced graph stats are available in Podbean Advanced account and higher package. To view your blog podcast advanced statistics, simply click the “Statistics” Tab after you log into your Podbean.com account.

Now, FTP uploading is supported in Podbean.com. There is no upload file size limit. You can easily upload huge video files, audio files or hundreds photos at one click via ftp uploading.

Want to create a podcast for your personal use? Share your video, audio, photo and words only with your loving ones ? Podbean Free private podcast/blog is the one designed for you. Now you can easily set your Podbean podcast/blog to be a private one which only can be viewed/listened/downloaded by your granted private members.
To set your podcast/blog to be private, click “Settings” tab, then in “General” sub-tab, choose the channel privacy option. You can switch your podcast from private to public or from public back to private any time.
After you set your podcast to be a private one, go to “My Private Members” page. You can add private members with their Podbean user names or use the email invitation function to invite them. The invitation email receivers will automatically be your private members after they follow the link in the email to login or signup a Podbean account.
The Free account can have up to 10 private members. The Advanced account can have up to 100 private members. The Pro account can have up to 1000 private members. The Premium account can have unlimited private members.

Now you can easily allow and disallow your podcast comments. Just log in, click “Settings” Tab, then select “Discussion” sub-Tab. There, you can allow or disallow comments, set or unset comments moderation, change email notification setting, customize the comments anti-spam setting.

- My Subscriptions
With our new MySubscriptions function, you can now subscribe to any user’s podcasts so that all of their Podcast episodes show in one convenient location. Just click the ‘Add to my subscription’ button at the side-bar of the Podcast site that you’d like to subscribe to . The podcast will immediately appear under your Podbean MySubscriptions Tab.
- My Favorites
Want to play all your favorite audio video episodes in one convenient place? You can easily collect your favorite audio video episode/post by clicking the “Add to my favorites” link at bottom of each episode/post. The episode/post will immediately appear under your Podbean MyFavorites Tab.
