Podbean And Higher Learning Go Hand In Hand

Posted by news on February 11th, 2009

Think podcasting is just for personal sites or news ventures? Think again! More and more Podbean clients are finding new ways to integrate the Podbean Podcasting System into the educational arena and the results are stunning!

Most recently, Adam Watson's English class at South Oldham High School decided to broadcast their literary discussion using podcasting services from Podbean. 'Dragon Booktalk' became an instant hit among parents, teachers and students alike. The podcast has since receive national recognition and the students agree that the podcasting element drastically enhances the learning experience.

"It's hands-on," said Alexa Laviena in a recent interview. "You're not just reading to read. You get through the reading because you want to be able to know what to say and do when you do your recording. That's pretty cool even for people who don't like reading."

But the creativity doesn't stop there.

Podbean's collection of educational users is growing every day! The Toastmasters Leadership Institute provides podcasts to help listeners improve their public speaking skills while Mr. Stubbart's 5th Grade class uses the Podbean Podcasting System to act out history lessons or discuss science, math and other areas of learning.

Want more inspiration for ways Podbean can help you achieve your educational goals? Visit Podbean.com and browse some of the best educational podcasts on the web.

New Editor Enhanced with Easiness and Security

Posted by news on November 5th, 2008

A new Visual/Html editor is implemented in Podbean publishing system. With this new editor, you can easily switch between Visual and HTML editing mode. Moreover, a new security mechanism is added. Scripts, embed code etc html tags will be automatically dropped in Free accounts. Paid users still can copy & paste any widget, script and embed code.
